- Answer The Escort M1 comes with a 16GB microSD card and has everything needed to operate right out of the box. The dash cam is ready to accept class 10 microSD cards up to 32GB without any formatting. If you want to use a microSD card larger than 32GB, please make sure to first format the microSD card in the M1 from the Escort M1 app. We have tested class 10 microSD cards up to 128GB without any issues after the card has been formatted properly within the camera.

- Answer Yes the M1 dash cam has the same plug as the Escort redline. Just plug the M1 into your redline and then plug your M1 into a power source. It’s that easy. I have mine direct wired to the rear view mirror so there are no annoying cords hanging down. Here are a couple of pics to show you.

- Answer No. First off, you need to have this attached to an Escort detector to work. Second it records no data, none. No GPS, no speed, no g's. You need to go get a "SmartyCam" or "Waylens" or "Garmin Virb" since Vbox and Race Navigator units are several thousand dollars. I think the app "Torque" has a plugin for combining data from the phone and OBDII port, maybe with video, I seem to remember something like that. As a trackrat myself, I will say that the feeble suction cup on the Escort units will become a projectile at high-G turns.

QuestionWhen I insert a new Samsung 128 GB Class 10 SD card, the camera's wifi disconnects from phone and the M1 wifi network is no longer in the list of available networks on the phone, so I can't format the card using the M1 app. Any suggestions?

- Answer Someone should tell Escort that a 128GB SD card will work with the M1, because I'm using one. BTW, I figured it out 3 weeks ago, but thanks for taking 3 weeks to reply, Escort, and then providing inaccurate information.
