“I would like to know how far away motion detection works with these cameras? Do I have to have them within 25, 50, or 100 feet of the area, door, or building I want to keep an eye on? I'm interested in the distance during the day.”

• Depending on the angle it can pick up motion at fifty feet. Identifying the individual or object (e.g., type of car) is problematic, though, at that distance.

• I consistently detect motion at about 40 to 50 feet. It will identify a person at about 30 to 40 feet.
