I upgraded two eufy 2c cams. Like others have stated the biggest difference is at dusk and at night. Faces are way better too. On the 2c cameras I could tell when my friends and family were on cam but I couldn't pick a stranger out of a line up based off the video the 2c was pushing. the 2k cams are so much clearer! I can't comment on the battery life since I've only had them a few days but my 2c's used to last about 4-5 months so I'm hoping I get closer to a year with these. Overall happy with purchase. The only thing I don't care for with these is the night mode with the spot light. On the 2c you had an option to set it so that the spotlight comes on when motion is detected. With these it just has an "Auto Night Mode" which I haven't been able to get the spot light to come on or figure out if/when it comes on. Overall not a big deal though since I have motion activated flood lights next to the cams anyway.

Bought these cameras and installed them on my house. One in my driveway and one at my front door They are good quality picture day and night The batteries on the cameras are long lasting. I have had them installed for about six months now and the battery indicator shows that they are half charged. It’s very nice to have a camera that shows you the battery status on your phone screen. These cameras also alert you if it’s a person or just motion, they actually paid for them selves for me One day while at work, my phone alerted me person in driveway I actually caught a thief in my driveway stealing some stuff. I was able to talk to them on the camera from my phone while I was at work and told them that I could see them and I would file charges on them and got them to put the stuff back. Love these cameras no monthly payments for app required. I purchased them install them download camera app on my phone it was that simple.

What can I say... love my Eufy cams! I have full PoE cameras at my home, however, I needed something for a vacation property (about 2 hours away) where wiring was not an option. Also dealing with CC&Rs, so had to mount one of the cameras custom (see photo), using the black silicone sleeve. I was using Blink, which were okay, but there were several issues that made me want to switch to something better (slow response to no response, recording time limitations, poor video quality, etc...). Then I found Eufy. Did some research, seemed as good as Arlo without the stupid need for the cloud storage service (Eufy offers a cloud storage service but it is not required or needed). So I took a chance. The 2K Pro cameras are amazing. They are wide angle, which is not a problem for my application, just an FYI. The quality of the camera itself is incredible, very stout and well built. Battery life has been great. Features are excellent and growing. Setup was easy. Distance ability from the base unit to the cameras is exceptional. I am using the base unit wired, but after setup wired, the base can be switched to wireless if needed (like for better base unit placement). Overall I couldn't be more pleased, and I am very happy to not be paying a monthly fee! #GetEufy

Very happy! Does everything I expected and more. Easy mounting. Easy setup. The clarity of the camera is really good. Night vision is crisp and clear. Better than expected. The ability to customize how the cameras operate is awesome. Selecting active zones to prevent false alerts, as well as sensitivity level options. Awesome! I've had the system installed now for several weeks, and haven't had any issues. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fast, affordable, flexible solution for their home.

Coming from an Arlo Pro 2, I decided to ditch those cameras and replace it with these. I can only compare these to Arlo Cameras since they’re the ones I’ve owned before, so other manufacturers may vary. When shopping for battery cameras, first thing you wanna check is battery life. My Arlos only last around 3-4 weeks. After that, you have to charge it again. Oh, and the Arlos are finicky with what kind of wall adapter you charge it with too. My Arlos won’t charge using Apple bricks. This Eufycam is still at 100% with more than a 100 events detected, so their claim of 365 day battery might be true. Detection and AI is also important as it would mean a difference of getting a thousand notifications with almost all of them false detections. In order to get smart AI with Arlo, you need to subscribe for about $3 per camera. Eufycams have those built in. So that’s less expenses for the user. Arlo and Eufy are both easy to setup. So they’re both kinda equal in that regard. It deviates more with HomeKit integration though, where Arlo takes a lot of hoops to go through versus Eufy setting up in the app or by scanning the HomeKit code. HomeKit Secure Video only supports 1080p though, so I opted not to connect through it. There’s also been reports of high battery usage when connected to HKSV. Alarm sounds are pretty much the same on both Arlo and Eufy base stations. One thing I like about Arlo though, is even if someone tries to steal your camera, as long as it’s paired to your account, no one can use it. I’m not sure how Eufy cameras work in that regard, but Eufy has Anti-Theft alarms in the event someone moves the camera with it on. Overall, Eufycams are a great value, less hassle and gets the job done. There is an issue with white flashes at the start of the video but they said it’s gonna be fixed on the next firmware update. A minor inconvenience but still, it gets the job done.

By far the best "wire-free" security system on the market. It's 2K, great app, good looking camera, comes with two types of mounts, stores the footage locally instead of an expensive "cloud" somewhere. And that battery lasts a looooong time. Much better than either running wires thru your attic, or paying $500 to have a "professional" do it. I'm really impressed. Actually just bought two more add on cams while they're on sale for $99… May as well take advantage! Love it! Thumbs up!

I love my eufycam 2 pro. It's working great and the battery life is up to 365 days but it depends on how you set up. If you want more recording videos, more alerts and notification the battery will drain a little bit more faster. But no need to worry it's rechargable. The video quality is good 2k resolution. I use my cell phone to set up the systems and the best thing is I still can get the alerts and notification even I'm far from home. That's good!

Had the system for a little over a year. Have not had to charge the cameras yet. They do an excellent job of capturing motion and recognizing humans. You can also zoom in. Night mode is really nice. The local storage is perfect to avoid a subscription. Resolution is exactly what I need it to be - clear enough to make out clothes, faces, etc. And I love catching the critters on camera! Would buy again.

It is very easy to set up. So far I am happy with the clarity and quality of the videos. Attached is the pictures of the front and back yards.

I am really impressed with quality of videos, syncing with the base station. And the battery life is the best thing in this cameras.Highly Highly recommend

These cameras were easy to install. Battery life has been solid. I have had them set to come on for all motions and and you can dial it down to human only which may minimize how often they kick on and use battery life. I also have them connected to wifi from an extender, a pretty fair distance from the main cable modem and probably 40’ and 60’ away from the main station where the extender is located. It’s been working Excellent! Software is way better than ring and more reliable. I also bought the skins for the cameras because of the winter temps, been working flawless!

These Camera’s provide excellent pictures are truly WIRELESS too. The installation was quick; easy and provides flexible installation location with the quick installation kits. Great Buy if you catch a sale

Read decent reviews online and went with Eufy over Arlo to save $50 but mostly because they don't require a subscription and can be saved to an SD card. I do like how clear the camera is at night in color, night vision seems like it's only needed if you're in a pitch black cave so that's good I guess. That's about all the good I have to say about it. Now the bad. For starters, the app is a little overwhelming. I just need security cameras, no auctions, online stores, chat areas or whatever else is on there, I haven't made through everything yet. The lag for notifications is crazy long, sometimes 3 minutes before I'm ever notified of a motion, I time it from the notification of my Ring stickup cam which is in the middle of my two Eufy cams. The sound sensitivity should be able to be adjusted IMO, not just them, my Ring can is pretty sensitive but the Eufy 2k are ear piercing while not picking up deeper sounds (such as my voice) well at all. I was talking while loading tools in my truck to see how it recorded and you couldn't make out one word over what I can best describes ad the sound of banging marbles next to your eardrum. I've posted screenshots for this, one camera hardly records much more than a black screen, the other records me like I'm a ghost sometimes and in no way shape or form can make it a single facial feature. Before you ask, no, I have zero issues with my internet. Both cams and modem have full connection and I've got more than enough internet speed to support 10 of these cameras along with all my other smart home stuff. Extremely disappointed with my purchase so far but I'm not one to give up easily so I'll give these a chance till the holiday weekend is over and see if maybe they work out their own kinks. If not I'll be returning them and going with the Arlo pro 3 set.

Wonderful product . I have since purchased two more of these cámaras . Love the clarity of the images and the security functions available. Does a great job of recording people and conversation. These I use in front and back yard as they offer anti theft security and allow me to put an alarm that goes off if anyone gets near my patio area while I’m away . It’s great ! Greatly recommend!

Easy to use, easy to get in the base memory and watch your recordings. Long lasting battery and reliable. I would recommend this product to any one

These work good. I splurged for the 2k cameras so we can view license plates. 2k cameras allow me to blow the license plates do they are legible. We’ve have a couple I can incidents where my wife was followed home. Only reason for 4 stars is the screw mounts are cheap and broke try to mount them. They come with magnetic mounts that are much better. App works well and cameras are good quality.

The Eufy's battery life for the camera is probably one of the best features. I have had the camera's running for a full month and I have not had to charge the battery. The picture quality is excellent, and the set up was easy. I highly recommend the Eufy cameras.

Setup was easy. Only operational for 24 hrs. I like it so far.

First off, the system works great, but unfortunately it's just not built to last long-term. I've had it for 2 years now. Within the 1st year, 1 of the 2 cameras started having a problem with the battery and it would not charge past like 10% even with it plugged in for 48 hours. I was still within the warranty then so they sent me a replacement. Now I'm coming up on about 2 years and the other camera is having the same issue. The other negative is that the advertised 365-day battery life only works if you set the recording settings to the bare minimum (like record for 3 seconds when motion is detected). Realistically, you'll need to recharge every month, or sooner depending on your settings - which is still not bad, considering you don't need to run wires and stuff. Overall it's worked great for the past 2 years, but it's just not built for the long term and the price is too high to replace a camera every 1-2 years.
