“Can I remove the micro card from the camera then read it using my desktop or is the card only readable when installed in the camera via the app using a phone?”

• no idea why you would want to do that as most would put this up high so no one can just walk up and remove the micro card or grab the camera if it's reachable. it would be a hassle to go up every time you want to view what's on the micro card.

• Yes you can remove the SD card from the slot in back and transfer files onto a desktop. The camera formats the SD card automatically.
