Please try again later.Are you asking if this works with Xfinity (yes) or if this works directly with the cable box (no) It works with Xfinity ISP and other cable ISP but in all cases you will need a router between your cable box and the Eufy homebase. Then just download the Eufy app and it will walk you through the steps for network setup. During the setup process, the current (2020) version of Eufy HomeBase must be physically connected to the router via an Ethernet cable. After setup, HomeBase can remain physically connected (preferred), or you can disconnect the cable to connect the HomeBase via WiFi to the router. In fact, if the Ethernet cable is disconnected from the router, it will change to connect via WiFi automatically.
