No, The chime, which plugs into an outlet inside, has a chip in it. Once the chip is full it will erase the oldest video first.

It comes with the card, 15 gb. I have the doorbell and 2 cameras. The doorbell has storage of 15 gb but I don't see the storage info for the cameras. So I'm not certain if it's 15 gb for everything since it's all linked together or if it's just the doorbell.15 ?? You can save clips to your phone as well but I haven't tried saving an entire day or month. It's a good question and something I need to look into. Hope this helps.
