A: You can choose 30-second or 60-second recordings. I do not know what the “off time” is, though you can make changes in the app. There is no subscription fee for eufy.
Q: How to charge the battery? Thanks
A: You will have to take the doorbell off. Eufy provides a needle like tool and once you insert it thru the pinhole it pops right off. I bring it inside to charge it for a few hours and the doorbell snaps right back on. For me it's an inconvenience.... had the port been on the side, I would be able to charge it outside without removing the whole thing. Other than that, it works really well. Depending on the activity the charge will probably last you about a month. It's close to Halloween and my decorations keep triggering it so I will need to adjust the sensitivity or just charge it as often as I need to. Hope this helps!
A: Night vision, yes...as easy as it is to install, you can do it yourself. Literally two screws or heavy duty 3M double sided tape will do. The unit and application will explain as you connect, just be patient and let the application guide you.
