Ring - Video Doorbell - Satin Nickel

I love it! I’m glad I got this on sale! I bought two of them, one for me and my parents! Couldn’t be happier. I live in an apartment so I couldn’t install it through wires or walls. I purchase a holder from another company to put it in and I’m so pleased! It doesn’t need constant charging. It’s been a month already and it’s only at 81% as of today. So I’d say it takes away about 1% of charge each day, sometimes half of that depending how much motion it detects and how you have it set up. I have it on moderate. It detects all motion and I record about 30seconds after until motion starts! Great buy! I’ve caught a lot of foolishness on my floor.

I waited over a year to write this review so i could give an honest assessment. Well it has been a very pleasant surprise. I was hesitant to get one, didnt think it was necessary, but with more and more porch pirates felt it was needed. Set up is easy and we have the app on all our devices including echo and show with notifications on. Mounting was a slight issue as my old wired doorbell is on brick in a very tight space that was to narrow for this device and it also would not provide needed street angle fir the camera. Easy fix for me I mounted it directly on one of my double doors. Side benefit is i still have my old wired doorbell so when this one is charging i still have a doorbell. I have most of the functions turned on and we get pretty much traffic to this device and i only have to charhe it every 3-4 months. Am considering adding the solar panel but havent decided. I did get the annual plan as after the initial free trial period you will see the benefits it offers. Personally without that i dont really see the need for this type of device. Camera is clear and gives a wide view. What is most important to 5: if i am upstairs i know when someone it at my door, i know who is there, know who shows up at your house when you are away EVEN IF THEY DONT RING THE BELL, have a record for law enforcement should that be necessary. Highly recommend this bell. Ps i got a great combo deal on this was the ring doorbell with echo show so you may want to keep a watch.

Plain and simple, must buy. Durable (dropped it twice, not a scratch), easy to install, wired or wireless, easy 5min setup, high resolution day and night. Long life, rechargeable battery with optional solar power or hard wire, great support. Sounds perfect, right? So why four stars? Well, some of the premium options and benefits require a monitoring subscription. (4 second back recording, remote monitoring, etc.) but, the service is inexpensive and is not necessary to have peace of mind and also have all of the functions needed to monitor your home with ease and efficiency. Also has intercom and panic button. Simply put, this device pays for itself in just the peace of mind it will bring. Worth every penny. A-

I can't say enough good things about this doorbell camera! I was paying $75 a month for another well known security service and their door bell camera did not work for the entire three years of service I was with them. This device has great battery life, connects seamlessly with the app, and rings loud enough to notify me when guest arrive to the door. The added feature of a automatic verbal response is another great benefit of having this camera. Highly recommended and great price!

Bought it for my new house and very please with the product. Easy to install. The image quality and sound are good. It has been over a month now and the battery is still over 50%, maybe because we don't have a lot of foot traffic in the front. Will subscribe to the ring plus since we have a flood light camera in the backyard too.
