“Do these eufy cam's have a limited duration for recording the event, like another brand that only records 12 seconds unless you pay for a subscription? Also, does eufy impose a minimum off-time between recording events, like 5 min minimum between events?”

You can choose 30-second or 60-second recordings. I do not know what the “off time” is, though you can make changes in the app. There is no subscription fee for eufy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have not noticed a time limit but to be fair we have not had anyone linger in front of the camera for a long time. I have also not noticed a minimum time between recordings, definitely not anything like 5 minutes. Recorded data is stored locally and there is no subscription with this device which I think is a big plus. If you promptly delete the videos that you dont want to keep (very easy to do) your storage capacity should never fill up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can customize the duration and as long as there's motion it will con't to record. So far it's recorded up to a minute. No subscription, it comes with an SD card. I have not noticed any off-time, I've had clips back to back to back.
