However, real battery life is dependent on a number of factors, such as local weather, the number of events captured, and the frequency of activation. It can take up to 10 hours to fully charge the battery. To prevent excessive activity and preserve battery life, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app, you can: Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity. Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones." Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically. You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion. You can go to "Power Settings" in the Ring app to see what features may be draining your battery. To access "Power Settings," open the Ring app: Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard. Tap "Devices." Tap the individual device (video doorbell or security camera) you want to check. Tap "Power Settings" to check your "Battery Level" percentage and "Feature Power Usage." Tap a feature to adjust "Snapshot Capture," "Motion Frequency," and "Video Recording Length." Perfect
I’ve been using the Ring Video Doorbell for a while now, and it has truly added both convenience and peace of mind to my home. The installation process was straightforward, with clear instructions and all necessary tools included. The video quality is crisp, even at night, and the motion detection works very well without too many false alerts. One of my favorite features is being able to see and talk to visitors directly from my phone, even when I’m not home. It also records clips when motion is detected, which makes it easy to check back later. The Ring app is user-friendly, and integration with Alexa is seamless.

I had a ring doorbell camera but the video quality was getting poor; it was time for an upgrade. I’m very pleased with my purchase, the video quality is great and it only took me a few minutes to install. The installation was easy and connecting to the app was simple.
