Yes, this does integrate the same / nicely with your existing NEST PROTECTS. It is sold as a “drop in replacement”. It also shows up on your Google Home App but NOT on the NEST App. if you are still running it.

You can Interconnect the SC5 via a 2.4Ghz Wireless communication protocol to Nest Protect Alarms with the use of the First Alert and Google Home App. The Battery Powered SC5 can only do Smart Wi-Fi Interconnect. Once registered and setup in the app to understand they are in the same location, SC5 Smart Alarms talk to each other directly in the event of an alarm. All Interconnected alarms send, receive, and resend the alarm signal. If an Announced Voice Location was setup in the app this information will also be shared over Smart Wi-Fi Interconnect so that all SC5 and Nest Protect Alarms can provide the location where the alarm originated. - Maria
