Hi LL, thank you for reaching out! Compatibility with the SC5 would depend on if you are using the hardwired or battery operated model. Here is the list of combination detectors compatible with the Hardwired Model: SMCO600NV-AC, SMCO600NV, SMICO100-AC, SMCO100V-AC, SMICO105-AC, SMCO110V-AC, SMCO110LED-AC, SC7010BV, SC9120B. For the battery operated SC5, the following are compatible: SMCO600NV, SMCO600NV-AC.
