• You don't have to if you don't want to. You can use the computer instead to track. A phone is easy and you can take it with you everywhere, but the computer dashboard is easily downloaded too!

• No it does not but it helps to sync it to your smartphone to use it at its fullest!

• The tracker comes with a dongle to sync with your PC. It does not have to be synced with a phone.

• It comes with a usb device to sync with a computer. With a phone you can sync all day and keep track using the app.
