A:AnswerI find that based on what I am tracking with Mike, mostly steps and weight that I can go 5 to 7 days on a charge. I also figured out that since I have to take it off to shower I can plug it in and let it change while I get ready for work. That way it always stays charged and I don't have to worry about it.
A:AnswerThey are very good. If something happens to it, they will just send you a new one. Don't wear it in the water. It's water resistant not water proof.
A:AnswerIt seem that your fitbit has a defective battery. I would do is contact fitbit customer service and tell your problem. They might send you a new one since it still under the warranty. good luck with it man.
A:AnswerNo... will it break if you swim with it on? Maybe. But it's possibly that it can last a quick dip. But officially Fitbit says this device is only splash proof with 1 meter of depth allowed only. So I wouldn't try swimming with it. Showering is not recommended but it was fine when I had my Charge HR so I'm betting it should be OK with this too but again, Fitbit says no to showering with this on either.
A:AnswerI have the Charge HR 2 and the Alta.
Alta does not have heart rate. It keeps track of steps, distance, calories burned and active minutes. The Charge 2 does all the same plus floors climbed. They both show call and text notifications and have silent alarms that you can set. They both have the option to turn on the "reminders to move." The Alta does not have a stopwatch but the Charge 2 does. There are other features on the Charge 2 that I haven't even tried out yet like where you can add exercise shortcuts in the Fitbit app. I still have to go through more of the Charge 2 101 Guide on the app to see what that's all about. There's also a "Relax" thing on there that I think you can set and it guides with breathing techniques or something? Lol! I like to wear the Alta for work stacked with a couple of bracelets bc it blends more since it's a thin band. I wear the Charge 2 for walks or the gym. I guess it depends on how much stuff you're looking to keep track of or the look you're going for ;) The bands on both the Alta and the Charge 2 can be switched which is fun if you want to change up the look!
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerYes it tells how you sleep how any times you are resless and will even add all up and say you was resless for 5 min altogether all night and then also at end of week gives you a total of it all
A:AnswerYou can enter in the exercise into your fitbit app first so it tracks it form start to finish, but if you forget, it will eventually catch on and automatically enter it.
A:AnswerRather than just turning the FitBit towards you, give it more of a wrist flick and it should light up right away. Also, try tapping twice on the gray metal section on the side to activate the screen, rather than on the screen itself. Once the screen is lit up, tap on the lower left near where the screen meets the band for easy switching between screens. You can also continue to tap on the gray metal sections.
A:AnswerIn addition to the other answers, it vibrates and scrolls a motivational message if you have not reached 250 during the hour. It also scrolls a small portion of text messages received as well as alerting you to a cell phone call, including caller ID.
