“Does the Alta monitor heart rate and show burned calories according to heart rate?”

• It does "advertise" that it monitors heart rate. I have yet to have mine calculate heart rate appropriately. I have found the hands on measure with your fingers to your pulse is more accurate.

• There is no heart rate tracking on the Alta. It's closest to a Flex, but with a display now.
