“Does this track heart rate recent history or only current heart rate, or both?”

• The device itself gives only current heart rate, however, the application tracks heart rate from the day you first set it up and provides weekly and monthly average and instantaneous overviews. Heart rate data is continuously collected via the synchronization mechanism with your iPhone, Android or iPad. Hope this helps. I have found this to be the best Fitbit device to day - I highly recommend it.

• This tracks current hear rate but you can see the heart rate history on the Fitbit app. It is a great tracker!!

• The device is linked to the Fitbit App which will keep a well detailed history of your heart rate that the device reads.
