A:AnswerHaven't had problems with the band on this one; they have made some improvements. Also, this has the ability to change out and there are several third parties that make them!
A:Answerthe only settings i know of are to change the dominant or non dominant hand and there is also a more and less sensitive, messing with those settings might help.
A:AnswerNo. I went downstairs in my house and left my phone upstairs to test this out. I didn't get the notification on my fitbit. I'm pretty sure you have to be at least in line of sight.
A:AnswerUsually I have the Best luck putting the Charge 2 Fitbit tracker in my pocket near my hip. This gets the movement as I bike. It doesn't seem to track the biking as well as walking, but does an OK job. There is an activity area that you can use for specific for biking and other activities.
A:AnswerI had a Surge — their larger, GPS enabled watch that preceded the Ionic and Blaze. It got to the point where the battery wouldn't last me even one day. Also the band, which on that watch is not removable, was falling apart. I called support and they were able to look at my sync history to see how poorly the battery was performing. Because I was out of my warranty period (less than 2 years), they offered me a 25% discount on a new fitbit. It was certainly disappointing to be told a $250 birthday-gift device was destined for the garbage after such a short time, but 25% was better than a kick in the head I guess. I did get a new Charge and have been happy with it since. I have no expectation that I will get a free replacement when it gets tired of functioning and it's why I'll probably stick to this mid-range fitbits instead of spending $$$ on something like the Ionic.
A:AnswerIt works with all versions of Windows 10. You just need to download the Fitbit Universal App from the Windows Store and you will need a device with Bluetooth to sync with. Even if you sync over an Apple or Android smartphone or tablet, you can use the Windows app to view and update other things like your water intake or food.
