Fitbit app links to your Fitbit by Bluetooth. As long as you don't have Bluetooth activated on your phone, the app can not collect any data.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've used FitBit for 4 years now. It's usage is thru Bluetooth. But if you don't have unlimited data then turn your blue tooth off during the day. Turn it on only to sync at the end of the day that way it logs all your steps and food intake etc. If you turn it off it won't affect anything. The app is safe, unlike others.
