• Yes. Display is clear, bright, and easy to read. You can customize the display face also.

• I have the "HR" model and the "Charge 2" and the Charge 2 is much better in bright sunlight with a bigger screen and bolder font but all devices using that type of display technology are still not great in bright sun but are getting better with each new generation..

• Yes. The display is very bright and you are able to change the clock face to your preference. When it is really dark it is bright enough to use as a flashlight, of course you have to keep pressing the button.

• I have not had any issues with the sunlight, as long as you have a free hand to tap on the fitbit, you can see it.
