• Fitbit does not provide a program to sync a device for macOS. There are a couple of programs in the Mac app store, but they are not free. the value of the fitbit app is to sync to fitbit dashboard. There is no other reason to sync to any computer otherwise

• Should. I do NOT have Mac but I use iPad. Charge 2 used Blue Tooth so if you Mac has BT you have it made. It will even sync with my Chromebook.
