How does this watch accurately track the distance of a run without GPS? To me it doesn't seem possible. thx null

Fitbit have the option to turn on and off gps conection between you phone and the fitbit so went you download the app is all synchronize

I usually manually put in my workout from the treadmill since my hand is holding onto the handle. I would assume this definitely does not accurately put your steps right. If your not holding onto anything and your arms and swinging the whole time it should get the whole distance. But at the same time I'm a hairdresser and it counts when I'm blow drying someone's hair at the same time lol.....
