If I were you I would send it back to FitBit and ask for a replacement. The package clearly states it can last up to 5 days. That is about how often I need to charge mine. If it were 4 days, I could understand. But not 12 HOURS! Send it back before your warrant expires.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are syncing with a Fitbit app on your phone, turn off the "all day sync". It will sync only when you click on the app, which saves a ton of battery life. I only charge mine about every 3 or 4 days now like is advertised.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the HR and after a few hours it'll say medium charge because that's how the system works but it could have a little less than a full charge. Charging it everyday will kill the battery life. When I first got mine it kept dying pretty fast so what I recommend is turning the quick view off and also the all day sync. I usually sync it when I wake up in the morning.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.don't know why it should be recharged daily if not defective. I wear mine daily up to 7/8 days without having to recharge it. After 8 days I plug it is for a couple hours and it is good to go for another 7/8 days
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's probably something wrong with it , I would exchange it for another one. My mom charges hers about every 5-6 days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Really it's all about how much of the features you use and how often it syncs. I have almost all the features running except text and call notification and I get 2 days between charges. If you disable all the syncing and the resting heart rate monitor you will get 4+ days with it. Advertising 5 days battery life is puffery at it's best. If it sat on a manikin's wrist with no bluetooth on you might get to 5 days. One day seems pretty extreme though. I charge every two days whether it needs it or not because the battery use varies based upon activity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does not need to charge daily. But with your power cord, you could charge it when you sit at the computer or when you are driving your car. Mine doesn't take long to power up. Try not to have it sync constantly? That is an option in the fitbit app settings. It says it could drain the battery faster.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found that when I use the vibrating alarm it drains the battery really quickly. You may try turning off all alarms if you use them and find it draining too quickly. I usually just charge it while I take my shower every morning and have seldom had to charge it more than that even if it wasn't fully charged afterward, and I have several alarms set to wake me. Sometimes I'll leave it plugged in a bit longer to fully charge; it charges pretty quickly it seems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wear my Fitbit HR 24/7 and I only have to charge mine about every three to four days for about 30 minutes. Seems like yours definitely has an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I charge mine every three days. It will only take about 30 mins to be fully charged so I charge it while I am in the shower since I take it off then anyways. So no extra hassle
