Fitbit doesn't have a product that can be used in water. It states its "water resistant". From my research I found a product called Misfit can be used while swimming

If you want a fitness tracker specifically for swimming, there is a list here: http://www.bestfitnesstrackerreviews.com/activity-trackers-for-swimming.html If you want a waterproof fitness tracker that you *can* wear while swimming, try the Garmin Vevofit or the Jawbone UP3.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure about Fitbit but the Garmin is waterproof and you can link it to a HR strap, so if they make one that is waterproof you should be good.
