Yes, this one will last. It is durable, easy to use and accurate. I charge it when I am in the shower, and I am good to go.

I cannot say whether this fit bit will last you longer than six months, however this one seems to be a lot more durable and due to its size it's more protected so I would think it's going to last longer it definitely suits the needs of somebody who uses their arms a lot and potential he could bang into things

I have only had the flex 2 for a couple months but I have had a one for the last 6 years and only replaced once when I finally broke the plastic around it.
