• YES, I have the S8+ and it connects better than my computer! The first time sync was a bit funny as I had to allow the Bluetooth connection, but fine after that....

• Yes it is! There is no ionic specific app. You will be downloading the fitbit app, which is the same for all fitbit watches. Once you download the app from the play store, you can select what type of fitbit watch you have and add it to your app.
