Yup it can. It is just very hard to wear it with any long sleeve clothing.

Absolutely. It's one of the reasons I choose this one over the other versions. In addition to keeping time, the watch feature shows you how active you are in each hour. Dots track the minutes, and the more dots you have in a minute indicates how active you were in that minute.
