Is it better to go big or small? I have a 6 1/2" wrist(comfortably), and the small fits a 5.5"-6.7" while the large fits 6.3"

Is it better to go big or small? I have a 6 1/2" wrist(comfortably), and the small fits a 5.5"-6.7" while the large fits 6.3"< .At a pinch i can fit just under 6 1/2", but I am worried if the small might be too small?

Get the large. It needs to fit a bit loose so you can move it up your wrist when exercising to get more accurate measurements.

I had the small at first but took it back for the large because the heart rate sensor has to sit below the wrist bone.

Mags, go big because it tells you to move the watch two to three fingers away from your wrist during exercise.

I would say Small is really small. I am a woman 135, 6'5 and small was tight, it was closed on a 2nd to the last of the holes and watch stuck on to my sweatshirt and fall off. I was happy it happened at the gym where i was able to find it.
I feel like L might be a better choice, and you be wearing Surge above your wrist for best results. ( According to Fitbid recommendations).

I was worried about the same thing- wrist size. My wrist just under 6.5. My Fitbit HR had extra holes available so I decided to try the small Surge. I wear my Surge in the 5th hole - there are four more available . Although you probably would not want to use the last 2 holes because they are used as a kind of band lock.

I thought I should have gone with the large when I first got it. The small seemed a little too tight when I first bought it. Especially when reading how to use the heart rate monitor, i thought I may have to exchange. I am used to it now. I wear it on the 3rd rung in which is just enough for the band to grasp the end of the strap in place. Not sure if this helps, but sounds like you are close to the scale like I was. Personal preference...

my wrist is 6" and the small is SMALL. get the large for your comfort!

I have about a 6.5 in. wrist. I almost wish I had gotten the large. The small is definitely small, you won't have a lot of extra band to get in the way of clothes and such. But the small works fine for my wrist.

Go bigger! I wore a small band size Flex and the small band size Surge is too small to wear as they suggest.
