I'm confused if using in AC mode you just need to set up the exhaust vent in the window which the unit comes with correct. When in dehumidifier/AC mode does the unit come with a hose how do you drain it? Is there a link to the manual? null

AC mode only requires the exhaust in the window. 

Dehumidifier mode requires an external hose that the user must provide. The manual requests that it be connected to a drain.

Hello Sue! The air conditioner FFPA0822R1 requires the exhaust hose to be set up while it is in operation. When the air conditioner is in drying mode we recommend hooking up a drain hose.
