“Is this air conditioner quieter then the average ac or is it pretty much the same? I'm looking for a quiet air conditioner.”

• About the same. When running, it sounds like an average AC window unit. It doesn't run that much though due to the energy efficient temperature control. We never wake up when it turns off or on.
