A: The only way to disable the beep is to remove the speaker from the PCB, or add a switch inline if you only want it off sometimes. The easiest is also to just put a piece of tape over the piezo speaker. This does not void your warranty with the tape method. A new law prevents manufacturers from voiding your warranty just from opening the device. They have to prove you actually damaged it.

A: Up because heat rises and cold air falls. Quietness is subjective. It seems quiet to me but my wife says its a bit loud. I can say this though, this is no more loud than any other AC this size.

A: It only beeps if you have horrible wifi which instead of purchasing this air conditioner you should upgrade your internet and then purchase this product. Its wonderful, I can turn it up and down off and on from anywhere.
