• The only way to disable the beep is to remove the speaker from the PCB, or add a switch inline if you only want it off sometimes. The easiest is also to just put a piece of tape over the piezo speaker. This does not void your warranty with the tape method. A new law prevents manufacturers from voiding your warranty just from opening the device. They have to prove you actually damaged it.
