“I asked a question about seeing light thru the air flow. you answered saying to put the foam on the sides and striping around the AC. which I did, the light is coming through the vents you adjust the air flow from.is this normal? its annoying.”

• The outside light reflects through the sealed styrofoam insulation inside the unit. Manufacturer specs. Does not affect performance and it is sealed so as not to let insects in.

• Yes, we see that brightness coming through the vents too. Our last Frigidaire didn't seem to do that. Makes me think the styrofoam is just thinner on this unit. Doesn't annoy me but I have noticed it.
