“Confused. The fan will shut off when it reaches the desired temperature (and I can forget about it) or the fan will stay on to 'keep the air moving' (and I have to be mindful to turn it off and turn it on)?”

This is awesome. I already bought the unit and the answer given is wrong. lol This unit has an energy saving mode which does indeed shut off once it reaches the correct temperature. The fan kicks on for like 20 seconds every 10 minutes to take a reading of temperature. Thanks anyway, Frigidaire.

This will happen to make sure that the temperature in the room remains constant. Air will pass while it is in operation to be tested to make sure the compressor does not need to be turned on.
