“I'm having a hard time finding a 'quiet' air conditioner. It's for a bedroom and the loud compressor keeps me awake - is this somewhat quiet, or could you recommend one?? Or are we able to listen to it run at the store?”

I bought mine last year. It worked great for cooling my room. If u keep it on low at night it's fairly quiet. Just as with any fan, u are going to hear some noise. I keep it on high and sleep right through it. It becomes white noise for me. It is loud, not super loud, on high, but that is because the fan really cranks out the air when you need it.
