A:AnswerHello KLB9! The air conditioner FFRC0833R1 will come with the needed installation hardware for installing the appliance inside of the window. If you would like to purchase an additional bracket for installation, it will be part number AC-080. We hope this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerHello Mark! We do not have an available air conditioner that offers heat around that price range. The air conditioner FFTH0822R1 is one that has the heating feature. You can view that model at this link http://www.bestbuy.com/site/frigidaire-8000-btu-through-the-wall-air-conditioner-and-4200-heater-white/4232902.p?id=1219710941319&skuId=4232902. We hope this information is helpful to your shopping experience. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerI bought mine last year. It worked great for cooling my room. If u keep it on low at night it's fairly quiet. Just as with any fan, u are going to hear some noise. I keep it on high and sleep right through it. It becomes white noise for me. It is loud, not super loud, on high, but that is because the fan really cranks out the air when you need it. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerThe fan does remain on, at least in COOL Mode. ECON mode is on be default every time you turn it on and it's wicked annoying listening to the whole unit turn off and on every few seconds, but in COOL mode the FAN is on the whole time. There is a thumping noise when the compressor kicks back on that can be noticeable, but doesn't wake me up.
A:AnswerGood Afternoon Paul! The air conditioner FFRC0833R1 with all of the installation and side panels will extend to 36 inches wide. We hope that this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerThe A/C unit works fine in my 16' X 24' work shop. I was out there yesterday and it stayed cool even with it 96 deg outside. When I say it stayed cool I meant it was around 75 deg inside the shop. It does take a couple of hours to cool the shop down but does pretty good once it gets there.
A:AnswerHello Frigidaire Shopper! The air conditioner FFRC0833R1 will not install into a window that is 15 inches wide. We require a minimum opening of at least 23 inches wide for installation hardware. Hopefully this information is helpful to your shopping experience. –Thanks!-
A:AnswerIt depends upon the size of your wall opening. You will likely be able to accommodate a large width using the panels provided in the installation kit, but the height can be a problem. Around 16-17 inches high will work fine, but you'll have to come up with a method to adapt for larger openings.
