“When the a/c has brought the room to the set temp, does the fan remain running or does it shut off and test temp periodically?”

• The fan does remain on, at least in COOL Mode. ECON mode is on be default every time you turn it on and it's wicked annoying listening to the whole unit turn off and on every few seconds, but in COOL mode the FAN is on the whole time. There is a thumping noise when the compressor kicks back on that can be noticeable, but doesn't wake me up.
