I new what I wanted and did research and all so overall I found and was expecting a lot more to be honest. I was looking for a quiet AC unit and to be honest to me it's not. Not sure what would be on the market tho. They all loud. So I have a 14/14 room and it does coo it down. I looked into different stores like Howard's where I first found the model I wanted but later found that they were over charging and had a no return policy. Best buy gave me 10% off price and 15 day return. Never going back again to Howard's. Also I have a Bestbuy rewards so I get money back with that. Over all I am staying with the AC and it does what it needs. Wifi function I like. The control for the AC wish it had a thermometer. Made in USA a pulse.

I purchased this air conditioner for my bedroom because I needed to control it away from the location so I can have the room cool before I get home from work. Not only was the air conditioner easy to set up but the control functions for my schedules work beautifully and the air conditioner always works as scheduled. With the built-in Wi-Fi capability and the availability to operate the air conditioner no matter where I am this is the best purchase I've made in a long time. Fits my needs beautifully and it never fails!!

Bought this Brand for its past reviews and WiFi Connection for home temp control while away.. Was Fairly easy to Install and at 8000btu keeps up with these hot Summer Days so far!! Thinking about another one for the master BdRm...

As far as the window A/C unit itself, it's great. It works well, it's easy to install, it makes my office more tolerable during the summer months of heath death in Savannah. The remote it comes with is also great. It's IR based, but works very easily and is a nice compact remote. But the 'smart' feature here isn't so smart. It's hard to get it working on my wifi (the awesome Google OnHub), the app is clunky at times (overlapping fonts and text on Android), and so I basically end up switching back to using the remote rather than the smart device functions. All of this probably why they've gone towards being complaint with Alexa and Google Assistant in the newer versions. It's a good 8,000 BTU cooler on clearance, but don't get too excited about the 'smart' functions. If that's what you're buying, go with the newer version.

Bought this for my sons small apartment at college and it has worked great. The thing that was great about this unit is that there is an app that he put on his cell phone that allows him to control it. He can turn the unit off when he leaves his apartment and before he heads back he can turn in on so his apartment is cool when he arrives back. He can control the temp, fan speed he wants to set it at and it tells him the current temp in his apartment. This saves money on the electric bill and puts you in control of the unit as if it were a programable central AC unit in a home.

Pros: I really like the wireless feature that allows me to sign into an app and control the AC before I get home (like an autostart for your car). I like that it has econ mode. After reviewing other ACs, this was the best brand I found - and it is made in the US. Cons: It's a little loud, but I've read other reviews saying that it's not as loud as a majority of the other ac units I looked up. The remote doesn't have a thermostat so I have to glance at the unit itself to check the temperature, which is a feature I'm used to seeing on other ACs.

When you live without A/C anything feels refreshing. Unfortunately these units aren't as quiet as I hoped during the night and the Auto feature meant it turned on and off in less than a minute even though the room was still hot. Finally the app never worked correctly. Always said that it had trouble connecting yet it would make changes still while other times it said the same thing and it didn't. Unreliable. They were returned sadly and I invested in actual HVAC.

Got this when the price went down to $220. It actually cools down my 625 sq ft open floor plan (livingroom/dining/kitchen). The App sometimes works better using 4G/LTE. It has it's bugs now and then. You just have to re-connect it. It's not perfect, but for the price I'm ok dealing with the small stuff. Weird note: even with vents tilted, air gets pushed to the left stronger than right.

Bought this for my apartment and put it in my living room. Setting it up was pretty easy. The unit is pretty loud and makes watching tv somewhat annoying. I haven't tried the wifi app yet and I haven't even set that up. Also, there have been multiple times where the unit suddenly shuts off when it's raining outside. I'm not sure if this is normal. I'm still happy with my purchase overall.

Works great, solidly built, and fantastic that I can control it from my phone. Only drawback is the noise level ranging from 55db - 60db. I need to wear earplugs or it wakes me up as it cycles on.

I'm very happy with this air conditioner. The Wi-Fi control work great. It provides a lot of cooling capacity in a very small package. Only problem is the blue LED lights are too bright for a bedroom. I covered them with a piece of tape.

I read a lot of reviews on this both good and bad, being skeptical, I decided to purchase this anyways. This summer has been extremely warm which I'm not complaining about, but its not fun living in a mobile home in this heat! I'm glad I did purchase this a/c unit because it has worked out great for my mobile home! Not only does it cool down my place better than my last one, it was easy to install! I'm not sure why people have had a problem with the app, because that has got to be the best part, being able to access it from another location to turn it on/off and or adjust the settings for it!!! So I'd say, when in doubt, check it out:)

This is an excellent air conditioner. One of my favorite features of this air conditioner is that it is a smart air conditioner, and I connect to it from anywhere to turn it on or off and make a schedule for the air conditioner to run at certain times during the day. That way, I can turn it off if someone in my house forgot to turn it off, or I can turn it on so that the room is cool when I return home. Another feature I like is there is a "Clean Air" function, so that the air conditioner could clean the air while it is running. As far as installation, it was quick and easy. I had it installed and running within 30-45 minutes.

Bought it to cool my 550 sq ft apartment was very happy that it did a good job even in 90 degree weather.We used a fan to blow the cold air to the other 2 rooms kept them pleasant and the main room cold .

I paid $125 dollars to have it installed and It just felt like a complete waste of money. Not only did they not use any weather seal or other things that came in the box for the ac and mounting kit but they also damaged my window, ac cover and left a gap below the ac. I have uploaded the image. P.S: my review is based on the installation. The ac unit itself is good so far.

I love the ease of using this AC. The air cleaner feature saves on running a separate air cleaner and saves on electricity usage. Bottom line is I'd buy another like this one in the future!

Cools as advertised. I don't use the WiFi connection features because I don't think it will ever get any security updates, so I can't comment on that. Like most air conditioners, it would be nice if it was quieter, but it's not super loud or anything.

Keeps my 500sf room cool and the wireless control via phone or tablet is very handy and works well

Replaced my old AC. Love the wifi app. You can control the unit via your iPhone or iPAD.
