I am looking into buying this for International use. Does it work outside of the US. For example if I travel to Jamaica or Europe will it still work. Can I bring this along to ensure I don't get lost in another country? null

Yes, but you would need to purchase the appropriate maps.

This model comes pre-loaded with United States and Canada maps only. Any of the Garmin City Navigator® maps will work with this model, including City Navigator® Europe. Please see the Garmin Support Center article for information about purchasing maps for other countries: http://bit.ly/2j64mEc
