• TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN .YES IT WILL HARM IF LEFT IN TRUNK OF CAR ALSO WRAP IT UP WITH RAG OR TOWEL SO THE GPS IS NOT EXPOSED FROM HEAT ALSO WHAT U CAN DO LOCK UR CAR UP AND COVER THE DEVICE IT UP IF LEFT ON WINDSHIELD PURPOSES.. GOOD LUCK
