No, the Forerunner 35 features a music control widget allowing the user to control the media player on a smartphone that is paired to the Garmin device through Garmin Connect App.You would still need to have your phone with you to listen to music. Garmin does sell other models that allow you to download music to them from Spotify, Deezer and iHeartRadio as well as your own music files, such as the vivoactive 3 Music and Forerunner 645 Music.
