Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on the tree canopy it should work fine since you are just mapping it like a trail. Although, I would attach it to the kayak for better accuracy rather than wearing it because the paddling motion might interfere with the accuracy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ir does not have a mapping system. Ir does have way point and gps built in to it. If your looking for terrain features this isn't the watch for you. Ir can get you back to where you started but the climb or path is up to you. It can be connected to the emergency satellite system with an additional accessory and monthly fee. You can get text messages and request for emergency services through your phone. Pretty neat if you like to go where there is no cell signal.
