Q: QuestionDuring SmartWatch mode, the battery life is extended but does it still count steps? I ask because I would want to set it to SmartWatch mode during work (i walk a lot during work and want to see how many steps I walked).

• A:Answer Yes it will still count steps. Haven't charge mine in over a week and I'm > 80%! I only use mine as a watch/activity tracker, so not notifcations/GPS etc for me. I love this watch!

• A:Answer The watch is entirely covered in plastics, except for the buckle on the strap. I don't know if you have to be touching the nickel directly, but I don't think you would be affected.
