Do batteries wear out and are they replaceable? null

Garmin's nuvi 2557LMT includes a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. While battery life will fade over the course of time and normal use, this is normal for all rechargeable batteries. They are also not consumer-replaceable, so you would need to contact Garmin directly or work with a factory-authorized service provider if your nuvi 2557LMT cannot hold a charge.

The batteries will eventually begin to lose life and if that becomes an issue you can send it to Garmin and have the battery replaced at a charge.
