• The nüvi 57LM has internal-rechargeable batteries that are not consumer replaceable. There is a battery icon present at the top of the screen when it’s not being charged. You can charge the nüvi with the vehicle power cable (included in the box) or the USB cable connected to a computer indoors, also included in the box. ~JH
