What plug-in device is necessary for map updates? null

The nüvi 57LM comes with a miniUSB cable, used to connect to a computer for updates. ^DK

A computer or laptop and the USB cord provided with the device. When first purchased took about 2 hours to update the device but worked excellent on my 3000 mile vacation.
