In the settings there is a place to put the Height of your unit. I have not been warned yet as I have not come up on any that are below my height. It has however warned me a couple times being over the weight limits of some roads and of very steep grades and some speed limits. I do like it.

You input all the dimensions including height for your rig when you set it up, whether it be a trailer or motorhome. The route will be based on all these dimensions so you won't come across low clearances. If you're not on a route and just viewing the map as you're driving it usually warns about upcoming clearances about a mile or 2 before you reach it.
