“What is the range to get notifications from your iPhone, how far can the phone be away from the band? Hello I am interested in this Garmin because its slim design and you can receive notifications when you are getting a text or phone call. How far away can the iPhone be from the band? Does it have to be in your pocket or can it be in the room that you are in?”

• It can be in the room. Wife has it and leaves her phone in the kitchen a lot and gets her messages on her garmin in the office a ways away.

• It can be in the same room. It reaches pretty far and it will notify you when it loses the Bluetooth connection and it will notify you it reconnects.

• I have a Samsung not an iphone but I'll still answer. I can get notification when my phones in the kitchen and I'm two doors down in the office. That's about 50 ft. I will also get "Bluetooth Disconnected" notice when I go to my house mailbox and right back on again walking up my sidewalk at about 50ft also.
