Q: Does the Vivosmart fitness brand come with a charger?
A: It comes with a charging cord. Battery lasts 4-5 days.
A: The vívosmart has the ability to initiate music playback commands, when paired with a compatible mobile device. The device controls integrate with the default music player on your device (smartphone) and can be used to play, pause, skip and control the volume of audio tracks. Currently, this is not an available feature of the Forerunner watches. Thanks for asking. *CG
Q: What are the size recommendations per wrist measurement?
A: If you can go into the store, try them on! If not, I have a small/regular and I just measured my wrist to be about 7 inches and I'm on the 3rd notch from the end with the band loose enough to move a little but not too much. The notches are pretty close together, so you may be better off with a large knowing the band may be doubled up on the last couple notches. I'd be worried that the small would be too tight.
Q: Does it vibrate when you been inactive for too long?
A: It will vibrate after 1 hour of inactivity, and again after 2 hours. After that, it no longer vibrates for inactivity until you move enough to reset it. You have to walk around for about a minute to reset after the first hour, and about 2-3 minutes after the second hour. I does not vibrate in sleep mode, so you don't have to worry about it waking you up in the middle of the night telling you it is time to move.
Q: Can you wear it in the shower?
A: Hello, The vivosmart is rated safe for swimming, so showering while wearing the band shouldn't be a problem either! -NM
Q: how can i sync my vivosmart activity tracker to my mobile device
A: Turn on the vivosmart so you can see it light up, then put your finger on the display and hold for a few seconds. Then slide the menu to the double arrow (one pointing up and the other down) and push it. This will then sync your device to your Garmin Connect phone app.
Q: Can I wear it for swimming?
A: Yes! It is waterproof. I wear it in the pool and shower with NO problems. You just hit record activity before you swim and then upload to the app and edit it to put in the name of your activity. I love that it's completely waterproof. I don't have to worry about anything and I never take it off.
Q: Does the Vivosmart count steps when you are in a car?
A: No, it does NOT count steps while driving. I commute over an hour to work and it vibrates to tell me to "move!" because I have been sitting too long! lol.
