Can I use this to track heart rate while swimming? null

The vivosmart HR will track heart rate data throughout the day, but this device is not designed to track activity and heart rate data while swimming.

It does have a swimming setting.

Yes it is definitely supposed to. I personally have not tried it though yet.

This device is not waterproof. You'll need to check out the other Garmin watches that offer that functionality.
