• A:Answer The device has a 3-axis compass with automatic calibration. No application is included that shows the compass but there are many free widgets that you can download. I recommend Compass and GPS Heading widget by FlipStone that gives you compass, plus speed, plus altitude, plus coordinates, and local time.

Q: QuestionWhat does the watch use to calculate sleep? Does it use movement and heart rate together or just movement only? If I lay still, but awake for two hours, will it say I was sleeping for two hours?

• A:Answer Believe it uses both, as do many of these type of watches today. I personally do not wear it to sleep. I can say it is much better than the Fitbit Blaze I bought a year ago.
